Thanks, GreenSock. You know I'll post some skulls!

Wiggle...hehe...of course not.

Ok, scanning is really a pain in the butt, but here's some of my animal sketches.

Kick ass stuff. Nice detail on the Alien sketchs. I really like the ostrich and the dear one, the bold line shading worked out nicely.

Wow, those animal ones are kickass.

Did you reference photos, or do you just frequent the zoo?

Protius404, thanks. Those two were fun to do cause I sketched them with a sharpie. Sometimes you screw up, sometimes they come out ok.

GreenSock, nah, haven't been to the zoo in a long time. I use a lot of reference pics, mostly from google or www.fredmiranda.com/forum/ . Thanks.

waisenkind, the real scary ones I throw in the trash. Thanks.

GUNRUNER, thaaaaaaaaaaaanks. Hehe...

Enigmatic_Delugar, you'll see more Alien and animal pics, trust me... Thanks.

Yo Shao! It was an ostrich, but I think emus are funnier looking. Hahaha...

Ok, here are some more aliens from another one of my sketchbooks. I used reference for all of these Alien ones, in this case I used my Spawn Toy Alien figure toys (and/or screenshots of them from spawn.com). The face hugger was done from a screen shot from the AvP trailer. And for the skull I used a picture DynamiteNeon took on vacation. If you're reading this DN, thanks for uploading the skull pics for me!!

Scary yet again ! Really nice sketches, I especially like the first and the last one I'm pondering on whether to post some of my crap sketches.. but I'm scared your aliens would eat them because they're just too.. amateur-ish xD But, I'll learn, I only just started drawing.. and your sketches are quite some help.. -puts on Cambrigde-English accent- Very inspiring, sire..

That's the point! Don't feel intimidate. Use it to motivate yourself into getting better. I love seeing stuff from people that are 100x better than me because it makes me want to draw and get better. There's so much I still need to learn.

Come on, waisenkind, post your sketches and you'll be surprised how much better you'll get with every post if you practice and practice.

Thanks for the motivation.. But, please do call me Waisen or Marie.. or something else, rather than my username .. Must be pretty tiring typing it out every time, I guess

The second lion head looks a bit elongated but the rest is awesome stuff. Wasn't that mugshot of the alien above the facehugger the one you used to make that awesome pic you posted back on the old board?

Hey, cool, you're drawing something other than aliens! Not that you're aliens are bad, just that it's nice to see you drawing some other stuff, too. I really like that skull one and the sketch page you have. Too bad it's tilted at an angle and it's kind of hard to see.

I like those kind of pages where people just draw a million little things on them. There's usually some really good ideas that just pop up on them.

Augustus, I wanna draw a half cyborg half ostrich with a laser pointer ala Borg style.

Sorry...I never know what to call people when it comes to their screen names until I get to know them so thanks for letting me know what you want to be called, Waisen or Marie!! Seems longer to call you that though. Haha...JOKING, Marie.

DZ, you're probably right about the second lion's head. Sometimes when I draw I'm looking at the paper at an angle and when I'm done and I look at it straight on I see that everything came out stretched out.

FF, thanks. I have no idea what that arm thingie does but I thought it would be kewl if you could like put it to someone's temple and tickle their brain or something.

Yo, PhisH! How have you been, man? Ya, I have a few cadaver sketches I could take pics (would be to hard to scan them) of. Some of them I think people have seen before. And, ya, I still have that paint over you did. Give me some time to look for it and I'll send it to you.

Hey, Al. Heh...ya, it must seem like all I draw are aliens and skulls. In reality I draw a little of everything. Some things come out better than others, of course. And you are so right about the doodle pages (that's what I call them) leading to some kewl ideas. I have a bunch of those that might be kewl to post. Thanks, Al.

Here are a couple more just to keep posting art with my replies. The first one I did for 7000 post at KUTFOT. I CG'd it but it didn't come out too good. CG'd version: http://home.pacbell.net/kwiix/KTFOT7000.jpg

Penguins because I forgot to upload the "Tongue Monster" I wanted to post with the above sketch. >_<
