![]() heehee..on the third pic, the guy toward the middle/top looks like osama bin laden...but maybe it seems like that just to me, the first is kinda confusing but, then agian i can see where one sketch begins and the other ends.
im surprised noone has commented on this yet...shame shame

I didn't know ball point pens would leave a yellow mark on paper after a while ![]() again, <3 big black markers and finally... ![]() my sketchbook cover.

![]() ![]() I believe this would be my first serious sketch in a while. i so want to ink it and color it. It's also perhaps my first fan art. though i can't really remember... it's from the manga Elfen Lied.

![]() Hey man, nice sketches, they seem almost as loose and random as mine. The ink page with the (Sxey help i think) was awesome, I would focus on that, but also keep doing what youre doing, random, let yourself be loose and fill up pages.
this is just my approach (you can tell from my pages), but if you let yourself have fun sketching and practicing you will improve more. Also, ink is what the cool people use (just so everyone knows). |

![]() okay, big update.
![]() sketch from some flickr i found, i'll have to hunt for the picture again. ![]() played a bit with ink here, another drawing from reference. ![]() yeah, i like k-on!... but it gave me more practice with markers. ![]() a quick sketch i made an hour ago, from a photo i found very interesting. I drew it on top of another attempt at a portrait from earlier, and left the other on the bottom. i really like how this ended up ![]() i got a copy of it here. this shows how I need to work on consistency.

![]() Really nice stuff here, but it seems that you're trying to find a style, cuz ur doing realism, mangas and some other things :P My only tip: continue sketching from life and try to get the basic shapes fast, because some of your drawings arent as the original image was, for example the brush is angled on your drawing while its horizontal on the original image, and also, the brush goes over his eyebrow on ur drawing while its going over it on the reference image. Nice stuff though

![]() Woah, those old band pictures are really very nice. They show good structuring and theres something fresh about them, lots of energy.
Love this one. ![]() Overall you've got a good eye for form and detail, you just need to clean things up a bit, give as much information with each stroke as you can.

![]() Does blogger host your images?? Might consider setting one up at some point.
I don't really know anything about blogs, I just stumbled across sampleviewer and bookmarked it incase I might use it. http://www.simpleviewer.net/products/ Does it work with blogger, cause that'd be sweet. More on-topic: Those girls in the 1st and 2nd image are nice. The lines have a good bit of freedom and energy.. Maybe try a finer pen for the details when inking though. And yeah, those pics are MASSIVE... atleast trim the blank page bits off >_>

![]() sorry about that :p
blogger is all google, and they have this image hosting service called picasa, but they don't do hotlinking it seems. when you have your gmail account, you don't have much left to do to set one up. the convenient thing is that you can upload to your blog while writing an entry, and it'll host it on your picasa account. The WYSIWYG editor could use work though.
