getting better; much better
on the coloring, use some deeper shadows and, especially on metal, stronger highlights.

post some more anatomy practice; it's coming along nicely buddy!!!

Do you measure proportions when you plan? (if you plan). Because when I started obsessing over measures, I got a lot better.

Your improving a lot, hmm, anatomy studies.

thanks for the tips. I'm starting to understand that the lines usualy dont contradict where the shading should be placed.

I'll get some more anatomy studies up next update

ShimmeringSword- I plan my pictures, but i usualy don't measure proportions unless its a piece i plan working very hard on. I suppose i'll start doing it more often

After going through AZmayu's sketchbook for about an hour, i finally realized why my inking is so dull. Basicly, there was not enough line width variation. Even when i did have some, my lines very all very thin, making pictures confusing too look at :P

thanks. Heres all my drawings from today so far. Studying human and non human anatomy and form. Plus trying to improve my inks ;p

Im going to a drive in movie theater tonight, and 'tis going to be long and occasionaly boring. In other words, excpect eye-searing random sketches next update.

ssjm- Thanks man, im currently torn between going with a heavier dark shading style, or doing more hatching and cross hatching work. I think i might go with the hatching/crosshatching though because it doesn't seem to overly used or popular.

gold_tangerine- thanks for the encouragement, though the shirtless guy was drawn at like 3 am XD

Heres all my work from yesterday-

^^^^ Those two were both character designs for a fc im having with darkmatter. I'm not really sure if should be showing them here before we start

I usually draw more in the later hours, so maybe ill throw more art on the viewers of pk later tonight

Nice char for the FC.
I suggest you get obssesed with proportions. I have a system of measures and scales memorised so when I go to plan a char I am less likely to make the painfull mistakes in measurements.
