Wow it's died here lol. I finally made the move to digital!!!!!(iPad Pro)
It's made my life so much easier. Anyway, I would like to get into coloring and "inking" my drawings and I'm looking for suggestions or what you guys use as guides. Anyway enough talk, more art.

Welcome back raptor x) glad youre finally going on digital. His pose and expression is working but i think you need to check the shape of his pecs and abs with some references. his right pec looks too round and the first row of his abs look too long vertically. His right thigh also looks like its bone is curving, but i don't know if its a deliberate stylistic choice. I've never done art on ipads so I have nothing to offer there unfortunately. good luck for the coloring

Hello there. Nice pic you postin' here.

I would like to get into coloring and "inking" my drawings and I'm looking for suggestions or what you guys use as guides.

I'm stil struggling with inking, it's really something you gotta assimilate to yourself IMO. I think just keep doin' it. I once felt horribly uncomfortable with digital sketching, so I worked it and it's pretty much 2nd nature now.

@astropho yea I knew about his abs and pecs. I tweaked them a bit and fixed his stomach I think. The pants were just kind of a place holder until I decided what I wanted. I decided they would be leather and I drew in some folds. I will post the wip when I get home. Thx for the feedback!

Digital's a big step! -well, digital on-screen is big. Wacom tablet as mouse was manageable for me since I'm from pen(cil)+paper land.

As for guides? Uh, hmm. A sure bet would be studying light and shadows and try to have your lines comply with those rules.
