Color Art The Fish Wisperer.

Spent more time than I'm willing to admit on this. Boring Friday night and a bored imagination. Luckily I think this bored imagination equaled a fairly original idea.

With apologies to your retinas...

Detail shot:

Spoiler:

I think the final size of this image was 5000 x 7500. Long story.

CAN... NOT... UNSEE!!!

Still, not bad for being completely uninspired. Like the use of different colors to make up the facial stubble, for example. The highly stylized anatomy is right on if you really take a good look.

Great stuff, as always.

Az: Thanks man. I'll take 'not bad' coming from you. And a smiley face to boot. Yeah, I really like a lot of the things I did with this one and I learned a lot. So even if it is completely weird, it was well worth it.

Red Hot Hoshi: Yeah, originally his eyes were normal, but as I got towards the end I felt he didn't looks crazy/homeless enough... so I derp'ed them. Makes me chuckle everytime I look at them.

Afro_Core: His face was the first thing I drew and the blue light was just there. Believe it or not, the fish ghost was the last thing I drew. I got to the end of the whole thing and realized he had a blue light cast on him that had no source.

Thanks again guys. I had a bit of a falling out with this one the last two days, but I've come around to appreciating it again. I checked the image size again today, and in real world figures it would measure out to about eight feet tall and five feet wide. Never will I work at such a huge resolution again... Maybe.
