Hi everyone, I will try to update this sketchbook frequently. My goal in life is to be an Illustrator and conceptartist. I have been drawing seriously at the age 19 and will continue to work hard to make my dreams a reality.
A CRITIQUE WILL BRING ME CLOSER TO MY DREAMS. The latest work is a work in progress of the mecha. The piece is titled Overfly and is inspired by the soundtrack "overfly" by Haruna Luna. Welcome to the boards! Ok rather than a direct critique, i'm noticing a lack of perspective in all these pieces. Do you have a proper understanding of 1,2 and three point perspective? If not i would love to see you work on that.

I scraped the mech RobotCat, It went in the wrong direction, I might take a stab at it again in the future. Muzz Yeah Muzz, I only have a basic understanding of perspective, I am still working on it. I just have been choosing the safe route with my pieces, I definitely need to start putting my'self in uncomfortable situations in order to better learn perspective...I really do want to create some awesome urban landscapes which deals heavily with sound knowledge of perspective so thanks for the motivation man. Grievejor Thanks a lot man, haha I guess my dragon does look like a pig a little =D. Just some things guys, some are more finished than others.              |
