For the Tone and Color Practice one-

As light bounces around it picks up the color of the objects it is bouncing off of. This is mostly noticeable in shadows. Since they aren't receiving direct light they will be getting more influence from bounce light. Any surface that a strong light source hits becomes a sort of new subtle light source.

This means that cast shadows will pick up some subtle color from the objects casting them (or any other nearby objects), and reflected light will pick up the color of the surface reflecting it.

For our final, we have to make an Imaginary Landscape using all the art elements (space, color, line, texture, etc.) that we learn all throughout the semester. I chose a sci-fi/ fantasy theme for this piece.

This is for my 2D Foundations class btw.

I have some new studies up on my blog: http://art-of-tentagami.tumblr.com

I can't post it here since it's totally NSFW. Look for a entry called Man-Ass studies.....
