Color Art Malfunction *Update 1

Newest:
without binary

with binary

older
Spoiler:

So I'm trying a little different process. Using more textured lines, more texture in general, and being a little messier (if possible in a digital medium lol) I'm not quite erasing some parts, leaving bits and tones in some places. I want to keep the shading to a minimal. Without it, it lacks depth yet I don't want it to be fully rendered. trying to balance it out.

So yeah...the blue is rendered more than the red obviously. Shadows on blue need a little work, make them a little less random. Also, Flickr sharpens the image a little more than it should be.

i like a little roughness in pics, especially when working digitally.

it'll really help with the robots to get a little more of that "dirty" feel to their chassis.

you're on the right track though, i'd like to see where this will end up.

Update at top. Pretty close to done I think. Prefer binary or no binary? I think I like it.
I have a feeling the composition is a little cramped, thoughts? It wouldn't be hard to extend it out more. Thanks as always.

I think no binary works better. Even in an unintelligible language, visual humor is mostly show, don't tell.
