Default WACOM Bamboo??????

Has anyone used the new WACOM Bamboo tablet? Its relativley cheap (60 -80 bucks), and looks like a mini tablet...

[edit] They also have a Graphire4 4x5 USB at best buy for 62 plus tax.... do these two compare well?????

It looks like it's just a replacement for the old Graphires. Now, they only have a graphire with Bluetooth support, so this one covers the same functionality roughly, but it's corded.

Thanks... but I guess it dosent matter anymore.. hehe... I just bought the 62 dollar graphire 4 (mouse and pen included, brand new) at Best Buy.

i got a white bamboo fun tablet a week a go and i luve it it costs 182 though witch is expensive for a6 but it comes bundled with PS elements and ArtRage2 and I live in Iceland so what do you expect

Bamboo is like the graphire with buttons. Really not much a difference.

hehe... my the graphire has a tiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiny little blue light that turns green when u write...

the light on mine is yellow...
I want a blue one. XD
But the Bamboo looks to be replacing the wacom corded tablets.
Hopefully they'll be cheaper, since tablets are still so darn expensive.

Expect to be in a state of AWE if its your first one! I love iiiitttt. Only thing... (not saying u aren't :| )... Its better to be proficient with traditional art if you're going to stick w the tablet! It's kinda tough starting out...

So basically, replacing your graphire 3 for a new Bamboo would be a waste of money?

Yeppers.... UNLESS you want some extra buttons... (then again... who dosent like buttons?)
