![]() The one I use is from Barontieri's brush set, right at the top. I use the brush controls to change it's rotation. In the picture you posted, I used the setting "angle jitter, pen pressure," though, setting it by direction is how it is mostly used imo.

![]() A custom brush is one that you (or someone else) make yourself in whatever paint program you use. They're easy to make in Photoshop, and great for adding your own touch (and can save a lot of time instead of working with the default brushes).

![]() Can someone upload the Barontieri brushes somewhere please. He's no longer got them up, he's changed his site and even though you can still get to the old dl page if you know what you're looking for the links to the dl's are dead :(

![]() I second the above post. They are gone from his site, I have been looking for his brushset everywhere, and I'm dying to try them out. Can anyone lend a hand?

![]() Tried out a few of these brushes. But honestly haven't found anything satisfactory.
I need a good starter kit for digital painting. And its hard enough learning what brush you need for what job. Just found this set randomly. http://yumedust.deviantart.com/art/2...shop-117421513 Looks pretty sweet, lots of useful shapes and ones that emulate real media. Can anybody give me some tips on what brushes are good to start out with?

![]() This is a pretty handy one - use it with the smudge tool and it blends colours.

![]() Hey Billov I only just noticed your post from last year. I assume you've already figured it out but it really does depend on you. Someone can tell you that a certain brush is great for a certain thing but you might not find it as useful. One example is that a lot of people use a 'hair brush' but others just can't seem to get away with them and prefer a brush closer to the default ones.
It really is a case of trying them out and seeing what you feel you can get the most from.

![]() I would like to add a toolbar with zoom, pan, data link and data brush functions. The toolbar tool in GUIDE already has zoom and pan functions built in but not the data link and data brush functions.
