Default Sanity Overrated in Sketched Visions

I feel so trendy
Here's my sketchbook, obviously. Oh, erm, watch out for that darn nudity

In order of sketch:

I really screwed up on that face

Studied the placement of the shadows on the face of this one..

I <3 Adriana Lima

Darn you mofo!

That's all for now..

Hey, insensatus.

I like the bottom right one on the second one you posted. That pose looks so I'm-a-tough-superwoman-that-you-don't-wanna-mess-with pose.

The face one is good too.

Thanks kwiix. I was thinking along similar lines when i saw the reference pic that i used lol. And if you think the pose is badass, you should have seen the look on her face.

No you don't sound harsh raptor. Criticism is always welcome. Maybe you could elaborate a little more on what you were saying about the faces for me?

Well, I second Raptors comment.. what I would like to crit.. or no, remark, is that nearly all your mouthes sit really low in the face which gives them a bit of a pout-ish look

But maybe that's intended

The face you really screwed up is the third last one.. her eyes are really weird-ish, and her mouth is too low

But I love your poses.. great work

I hope you understand what I mean with the faces If not, just PM me and I'll elaborate as soon as I can xD

I think what i'll do is resketch the faces of adriana lima since i still have those pics saved on my computer, and then sketch several others and post them up here and see if there's a difference.

Thank you for the comments ^_^

looks good! some stuff that needs a bit of polish is your hands (sometimes they are great, sometimes not as great), and your faces. You seem to have a tendancy to make the mouth too low and the eyes too high. Try bringing them in a little bit, and the faces will be way nicer.

keep rockin dude, it's looking good overall

Well, nice to know it's not just me with the face comments. As said before the poses are great... very comfortable looking.. not stiff at all. The anatomy is good .... just the face.. and hands.. but I can;t crit much there a I have the same problem in that area....

Hello dude,

the 2nd and 3rd picture are the best.
The shapes looks quite correct.

Next time try to make the face a little smaller Maybe by using guide lines.
(and noze should be a little higher - have a look at an anatomy book or just a photo or someone)

Keep drawing
