130 isn't that bad for everything that's being offered in the pack.

I believe the helmets for show, lol, but as said, not a bad collectors item.

And to it being a cruddy series, I really believe the opposite, I'm not some fanboy ready to kill someone for a masterchief autograph or something, but I still enjoy the excellent sound tracks, not so bad story, and overall experience that halo has to offer.

Which brings my point on my next statement, the Soundtrack is what makes halo halo imo, and that feeling that gets you when you mix the orchestrial with the choir and guitar, it's just a great experience to mix that with near impossible odds but pull it off with a mysterious character that has a mysterious past, and even more mysterious future.

So bottom line, 130, yes to much, but think, they could be charging 150 like for LODR and stuff, >.>.

Don't see why people are up in arms about 130$ for a collectors edition Halo.

You're not just buying the game, you're buying a collectors collection of crappy whatever dodads, that I suppose might be neato (but maybe not?)

People pay extravegent prices for Barabara Striesand concerts... I don't know why. God does not know why.
But people paying extravegent prices for a overly packaged game shouldn't be surprising- and you don't have to understand 'why' someone will pay that. People do, and, in this case, Bungie knows it.

Can't say I understand the appeal of Halo.

But it's pretty obvious something like this would happen since it's so popular. Doesn't bother me at all since I'm not going to buy it. It's not like it's the regular version's price.

I know that the average wage hovers around $50000 a year but you have to remember that the richbastards that are outliers skew those numbers by a lot.

The ps3 here is $999.5 and the xbox 360 premium is around $630.

So yeah we do get a higher wage but i highly doubt it would warrant such a big difference in price.

Yea, games are a fraction more expensive there, but nothing to complain about, some things come out cheaper.

But the real reason not to go to NZ is their prime minister is fugly (if Karen Clark is still in powarrr, wwraaar she sais).

the aus excange rate still shouldnt cause that much of a price hike shimmering. its 80 us cents to the aus dollar, in that case it should be that they cost around $75-$80 if us games are $60. meh this is pointless its not going to change the price of games
