Some of us draw on paper, scan the lineart into the computer, then work on touching up the lineart or making pretty colors in digital format.

I can't think of anything on the fly like that. I'm pretty terrible at writing when it comes to making comics. I love to draw them, but bad at writing a story that I can draw.
